White Castle — April Fool’s Day

A White Castle Slider has five little holes, but what if it had just one big hole? And thus, White Castle’s April Fools’ Day prank – low-calorie Slider Lites – was born. We announced this amazing new menu item ("It’s a brand-new slider with a hole lot of flavor!") with social videos, Instagram Stories, and a one-day homepage takeover. The stunt was picked up by AdAge, and we got the chance to have a little fun with one of America's most unique culinary creations.
